      Installing PeriopSim VR for HTC VIVE Focus 3 Without an App Store

      For Enterprise deployments, IT installations, or non-app store downloads.

      Below you will find the latest non-store release of PeriopSim VR for HTC VIVE Focus 3. This non-DRM .APK is meant for Enterprise deployments, creating batch configuration files, or sideloading. For guidance on creating a batch file through HTC VIVE Business+, navigate to this link -

      Download PeriopSim VR .APK for Focus Series 

      For sidloading the PeriopSim VR app on to the HTC VIVE Focus 3, follow the steps below: 

      1.     In the headset, go to Settings > Advanced

      2.    Turn on "Allow unknown apps", then shut down and restart the headset 

      3.    Transfer the file to the headset through one of the following methods:

      • microSD card: Copy the APK file to a microSD card. Insert the microSD card into the headset behind the face gasket in the microSD card slot. 
      • Using a USB-C memory stick or storage device: Copy the APK file to an external USB-C memory stick or storage device, then connect the USB-C device via the USB-C port on the right side of the headset
      • Transfer to internal storage: Connect the headset to your computer using the USB Type-C port on the right side of the headset. The "Choose USB mode" dialog box will appear in the headset, then select "File transfer". On your computer, open a file management app such as File Explorer and navigate to VIVE Focus 3. Click Internal shared storage then copy the .APK file to the download folder.

      4.   In the HTC VIVE Focus 3 headset, select Storage > File browser

      5.    Navigate to the folder that contains the APK file

      6.    Select the APK file to install it

      7.    After installing an APK file, the app will appear in the Library. You can use the filter to find it more quickly
