Installing and Launching PeriopSim VR on PC for Meta Quest Series (2/3s/3) VR Headsets: VIVEPORT App Store

Meta Quest Link Desktop App lets you stream, wirelessly or through a cable, SteamVR-compatible content from your PC directly to your Meta Quest Series VR headset

Before starting, please ensure you have all the necessary equipment, hardware, and that your software stack (Meta Quest Link Desktop App, VIVEPORT Desktop App, and SteamVR) are up to date on your PC. Compatible headsets and system requirements are listed below:

1. Download the VIVEPORT desktop app to your PC. If you haven't already, you will need to first establish a free VIVEPORT account. Account creation and download link can be found here - https://www.viveport.com/
2. The latest version of PeriopSim VR can be downloaded from the VIVEPORT Store - https://www.viveport.com/dcc269b6-6c9c-4e4e-b86f-2e58efa4f86d
3. Make sure SteamVR has been downloaded to your PC and has the latest public release version running. You can download SteamVR from: https://store.steampowered.com/app/250820/SteamVR/
4. Install the Meta Quest Link Desktop App on a compatible PC. Use the following link to download Meta Quest Link App  - https://www.oculus.com/download_app/?id=1582076955407037 If already downloaded, ensure you are running the latest version of the Meta Quest Link Desktop App

5. Launch the Meta Quest Link Desktop App and navigate to Settings > General > Unknown Sources. Allow Unknown Sources to enable 3rd Party apps

6. Launch the VIVEPORT desktop app. Click your Profile Icon > Settings > Device Set Up > Setup Up a Device, then follow the on-screen instructions

7. Before continuing, make sure you've completed room setup from your headset in the space you plan to use it. Room setup is done from the headset and not from SteamVR or the Meta Quest Link App
8. Press the Meta button on your right controller to open the Universal Menu, then select the clock on the left side of the Universal Menu to open Quick Settings, then select "Link" If using Meta Quest Air Link,  select the toggle next to "Use Air Link"
9. Select the computer your headset is plugged into
10. Ensure SteamVR is configured correctly to work with your Meta Quest headset. Open SteamVR and go to Settings > OpenXR > Meta Plugin Compatibility > Toggle to "On" 
11. Once SteamVR has launched, select PeriopSim VR from the SteamVR lobby and log in to the PeriopSim VR App.
