      Installing PeriopSim VR for HTC VIVE Focus Vision Without an App Store

      For Enterprise deployments, IT installations, or non-app store downloads.

      Below you will find the latest non-store release of PeriopSim VR for HTC VIVE Focus 3. This non-DRM APK is meant for Enterprise deployments, creating batch configuration files, or sideloading.

      There are three ways you can install the non-store version of PeriopSimVR onto the HTC VIVE Focus Vision - microSD™ card, USB-C storage device, or via PC File Transfer.

      Before proceeding, make sure your headset is allowed to accept unknown apps. In the headset, go to Settings > Advanced > Turn on "Allow unknown apps"

      To use a  microSD™ Card:
      • Ensure your microSD™ card is formatted to FAT32 or exFAT
      • Copy the APK file to microSD™ card
      • Remove the face cushion to reveal the microSD card slot
      • Insert the microSD™ card into the card slot with the gold contacts facing away from the lenses
      • Gently push until it clicks into place. Press the card again to eject
      • Reattach the face cushion
      • Select Storage > File browser
      • Navigate to the folder that contains the APK file
      • Select the APK file to install it.
      Use an external USB-C storage device:    
      • Copy the APK file to an external storage device
      • Connect the external storage device via the USB port on the right side of the headset
      • Select Storage > File browser
      • Navigate to the folder that contains the APK file
      • Select the APK file to install it
      Transfer to internal storage    
      • Connect the headset to your computer using the USB Type-C port on the right side of the headset
      • The Choose USB mode dialog box will then appear in the headset
      • Select "File transfer" from your PC
      • On your computer, open a file management app such as File Explorer and navigate to VIVE Focus Vision
      • Click Internal shared storage
      • Copy the APK file to the Download folder
      After installing an APK file, the app will appear in the Library. You can use the filter to find it more quickly. For details, visit the HTC VIVE support site for Accessing apps in the Library.
