How to Update for Apple macOS: Desktop and Laptops

Take the following steps to update apps on macOS:

Updating apps from the Apple App Store

1) Click Updates in the sidebar

2) Click Update beside each app you want to update

3) Click "Update All" to update all apps

Update apps from the Apple Menu

1) On your Mac, choose the Apple menu in the upper left corner of your screen to see if any updates are available 

2) To receive your updates, choose App Store

3) After the App Store opens, click Updates in the sidebar

4) Click Update beside each app you want to update

5) Click "Update All" to update all apps
