How do I share what is happening on my Meta Quest Series Headset (2/3s/3) with others?

Meta Quest supports screen casting functionality, allowing you to wirelessly share your VR experience or watch the VR experiences of others

Cast to Computer or Smart TV via Web Browser

1. On your computer, open your web browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge) and log into your Meta account. 
2. Go to oculus.com/casting
3. Put on your headset and press the ‘Meta” button on the right controller to open up the Universal Menu
4. Select the Camera icon on the Universal Menu to open the Camera menu
5. Click the “Cast” icon
6. Select the option for Computer from the list of available devices, then click "Next"
7. When connected you will see a red dot in the upper right-hand corner of the headset screen. This red dot indicates your device is casting

8. Your Meta Quest headset will now be casting to the webpage you opened on your PC or Smart TV

Cast to Chromecast dongle or Chromecast-enabled TV

1. Put on your headset and press the ‘Meta” button on the right controller to open up the Universal Menu
2. Select the Camera icon on the Universal Menu to open the Camera menu
3. Click the “Cast” icon
4. Select the the Chromecast device from the list of available devices, then click "Next"
5. When connected you will see a red dot in the upper right-hand corner of the headset screen. This red dot indicates your device is casting
6. Your Meta Quest headset will now be casting to the Chromecast device

How to Stop Casting

1. From your headset, press the ‘Meta” button on the right controller to open up the Universal Menu
2. Select the Camera icon on the Universal Menu to open the Camera menu
3. Click the “Cast” icon then click “Stop Casting”
