Are my Learners able to use PeriopSim offline?

Internet connectivity and wi-fi access can be challenging sometimes. Using Shared Mode can allow your Learners to work offline.    

Yes. Learners can play the PeriopSim learning modules while offline in either Single User Mode or Shared Mode

Please note: In order to use PeriopSim offline, the PeriopSim Learning App must have already been downloaded to the device, the Learner logged in. and the experience modules downloaded within the app. 

Once the PeriopSim Learning App has been logged into and experience modules downloaded, the Learner can now play the experiences offline within the app and their performance will be recorded. The headset will need to eventually be connected to the internet in order to upload the performance metrics to the PeriopSim Web Portal. 

Tip: In order to allow multiple Learners to playthrough the PeriopSim experiences offline, an Educator can configure the PeriopSim App into shared mode while connected to the internet. Once the device has been put into shared mode and the cohort selected, the Learners can then use their 4-digit PIN to access the learning modules. Learners can cycle in and out of the differentexperreinces and their perfomrace logged against their 4-digit PIN. The headset will need to eventually be connected to the internet in order to upload the performance metrics of each Learner to the PeriopSim Web Portal.
